Bloomberg Associates and Street Plans were published by The Asphalt Art Guide in October of 2019.
What is the purpose of the guide?
This project aims to revitalize public spaces intervening in:
- Roads, intersections and pedestrian crossings)
- Pedestrian spaces (plazas, and sidewalks)
- Infrastructure vertical (public services)
- Boxes
- Traffic barriers and underpasses
One of the main objectives is to encourage people to use public transportation, walk or ride a bike.
To activate these spaces using little more than paint, but making an impact cultural, economic, and security.
Sharing all these lessons learned in these projects are low risk and low investment. Provided to cities with opportunities for better planning, it is a good strategy to bring communities together and create safer public spaces.
This initiative urban art also gives grants to cities, small or medium-sized enterprises that want to develop a project that will generate the impact you are looking for with the Asphalt Art Guide.
