Ante esta situaci\u00f3n el United States Green Building Council (USGBC) empez\u00f3 a trabajar en estrategias de sostenibilidad encaminadas a reducir el impacto ambiental global del edificio que en 1998 fue denominado LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La \u00fanica instituci\u00f3n con facultades para otorgar la certificaci\u00f3n LEED es el Green Building Certification Inc. (GBCI). <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El objetivo del USGBC al crear LEED es que se pueda crear un futuro m\u00e1s saludable y sostenible<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3><b>Background LEED<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"txt-just\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>1993<\/strong> se fund\u00f3 el USGBC con David Gottfried como presidente, Mike Italiano como Director Ejecutivo y Rick Fedrizzi como presidente fundador.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>1998<\/strong> surge la versi\u00f3n LEED v1.0 y con \u00e9sta 19 proyectos iniciaron el proceso de certificaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2001<\/strong> y basados en el aprendizaje de la versi\u00f3n 1.0 lanzaron LEED 2.0 la cu\u00e1l implement\u00f3 que m\u00e1s sectores pudieran obtener la Certificaci\u00f3n LEES.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2003<\/strong> y con n\u00fameros significativos lanzaron LEED v2.1 con la cu\u00e1l en un a\u00f1o se lograron certificar 100 proyectos, entre los cuales se encontraban sectores como:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Existing buildings<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Commercial Interiors<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Core &amp; Shell<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En 2009 con bastante experiencia reflejada en la nueva versi\u00f3n LEED v2009 se introdujeron cr\u00e9ditos basados en estudios cient\u00edficos que avalaran la rigurosa evaluaci\u00f3n LEED, para esta fecha ya se hab\u00edan certificado 5000 proyectos a nivel mundial.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En 2015 surge la versi\u00f3n LEED v4 con un mejor enfoque y \u00e9nfasis en los materiales y recursos para seguir aumentando el n\u00famero de proyectos certificados.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Y finalmente en el 2019 surge la versi\u00f3n hoy vigente LEED v4.1<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3><b>Certificaci\u00f3n LEED v4.1<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"txt-just\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LEED se encuentra continuamente en evoluci\u00f3n, actualmente la versi\u00f3n vigente es <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usgbc.org\/leed\/v41\">LEED v4.1<\/a> algunas de las caracter\u00edsticas de \u00e9sta versi\u00f3n son:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Garantizar que todos los involucrados en cualquiera de las fases del edificio sustentable se beneficien del dise\u00f1o.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The benefit granted by the green building both short-and long-term.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Garantizar una mayor calidad integrando dise\u00f1os innovadores, tecnolog\u00edas y la estricta selecci\u00f3n de materiales para su construcci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/li>\n<li intenci\u00f3n de LEED al actualizar las versiones de la certificaci\u00f3n es que un mayor n\u00famero de proyectos puedan alcanzarla, sin perder la exigencia de cada punto, pero impulsandonos a dependiendo el tipo de proyecto y la fase en la que se encuentre el edificio.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El sistema de clasificaci\u00f3n LEED >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"txt-just\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are 2 types of credentials: LEED Green Associate (GA), and LEED Accredited Professional (AP).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LEED Green Associate (GA): Esta credencial indica que tienes los conocimientos generales de las pr\u00e1cticas de construcci\u00f3n sostenible y sustentable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LEED Acredited Professional (AP): Esta credencial indica que aparte de los conocimientos generales de las pr\u00e1cticas de construcci\u00f3n sostenible y sustentable, tambi\u00e9n se tienen conocimientos de uno de los sistemas de clasificaci\u00f3n LEED espec\u00edfico, para obtener esta credencial es necesario presentar el examen de conocimientos generales y el de la especialidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En ambos casos debes tener una educaci\u00f3n continua posterior a obtener tu
