What is the Green Plan of Singapore by 2030?

It is an initiative for the nation of Singapore, which promotes the sustainable development plan of the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 developed by the UN to achieve the positioning of the nation with zero net emissions as soon as possible.

It is a Plan to the global emergency, to obtain results in favor of the planet in 10 years and focused on 5 areas:

  • Sustainability and the Environment

Some of the key objectives of the Green Plan Singapore 2030

  • Add more than 130 ha of new parks and improve around 170 ha of existing parks.
  • “80% of new buildings are buildings very low energy by 2030.
  • 8 cities prepared for electric vehicles chargers in parking lots.
  • All the records of cars and taxis new will be models of clean energy by 2030
  • 60,000 charging points across the country, including 40,000 in public car parks and 20,000 in private premises for 2030
  • Increase the deployment of solar to 1.5 gigawatts peak (GWp) for 2025 and at least 2 GWp for 2030.
  • Reduce waste sent to our landfill per capita per day in a 20% by 2026, with the goal of reaching 30% by 2030.
  • Increase the proportion of journeys made by public transport mass to 75% by 2030.
  • At least 20% of the schools will be carbon neutral by 2030.
  • Gradually eliminate the refrigeration equipment and air conditioners use refrigerants with high global warming potential (GWP) from the fourth quarter of 2022.
  • To enter a Program of Corporate Sustainability, to help companies, especially SMES, to adopt the sustainability and develop capabilities in this area.

Singapore will develop the first Set of Buildings Digital with Zero Carbon Emissions
